Suffolk Trainings in Overdose Prevention an Outreach and Development Program (STOP-OD) is dedicated to empowering the people, customers, and communities of Suffolk County through a comprehensive approach to overdose prevention and outreach. This program offers free services, including: 

  • Workforce Coaching: Guidance and support for individuals and organizations working within the community. 
  • Narcan Training: Learn how to administer Narcan to reverse opioid overdoses. 
  • Fentanyl Test Strips: Access to tools that help detect the presence of fentanyl in substances. 
  • Community Conversations: Engage in open dialogues aimed at raising awareness and reducing the stigma around opioid use and prevention.
