Public Health Substance Abuse and Vaccine Equity (PH-SAVE) is designed to support community members in staying informed and protected, with a special focus on COVID-19 vaccinations and overall wellness. Working in collaboration with the Fund for Public Health NYC on behalf of the Health Department’s Center for Health Equity and Community Wellness, PH-SAVE aims to provide crucial pandemic recovery services through a variety of activities and outreach efforts. 

Core Services: 

  • Vaccine Navigation & Referrals: We help you stay up to date with COVID vaccinations and other important health information, ensuring easy access to healthcare providers.
  • Strengthening Communities: Through outreach and neighborhood events, we empower and support community members, fostering stronger, healthier communities. 
  • Wellness Groups: Our wellness groups are designed to provide recovery support through group activities and shared resources, helping individuals build a sense of connection and resilience. 

Program Focus: Our motto, we’ve got ONE SHOT to stay protected, highlights the importance of staying current with vaccinations and connected to health services. Through community-based services, our team of trained community health workers is dedicated to helping residents recover from the effects of the pandemic and build stronger, healthier communities.
