What is a Clubhouse?

Clubhouses are not typical treatment centers; they are communities of support, where members work side-by-side with staff to rebuild purpose, connection, and stability.  The Clubhouse model dates back more than 70 years to Fountain House NYC, founded by and for those with serious mental illness.  Clubhouses are built on the belief that recovery thrives when members lead the way. From daily programming to long-term vision and planning, our members co-design the space and shape its direction.
