The Fight Against Drug Overdoses

The drug crisis is a top priority in the city. The City Council recently passed a bill that will provide free fentanyl test strips and naloxone to bars and clubs. Naloxone is the drug that reverses opioid overdoses, including fentanyl. The strips are used primarily to test a drug to see if it has been laced with fentanyl, which the CDC says is up to 50 times stronger than heroin.
